In every case the objective is for our customers to get the best possible result when building and finishing their new home. The design and building process is a complex one with the need to coordinate a lot of different activities and trades people as well as conforming to planning and regulatory requirements.

Cornerstone is the construction arm of the Linwood Group of Companies which has designed and built thousands of custom homes all over the world since 1968. We work with land developers and individual property owners to construct quality homes using natural materials and take full advantage of the features of each individual site.

The company provides a complete construction service. This includes supplying suitable designs, obtaining planning permits, supplying materials and sourcing all the trades required to build the home. We generally manage the entire project and trades people from start to finish. Under some circumstances we will only take the house to lock-up if the owner wishes to complete the finishing on their own schedule.

We have the capability to work throughout North America and our qualified personnel are available to travel to difficult locations when required.

Cornerstone CBS Building Solutions Ltd. is a Linwood Homes affiliated company. Linwood has manufactured and sold thousands of custom homes throughout the world over the last 35 years. Primarily Cornerstone is based out of two locations, British Columbia in the West and Ontario in the East of Canada. We have the capability to work throughout North America and our qualified personnel are available to travel to difficult locations when required.

In every case the objective is for our customers to get the best possible result when building and finishing their new home.

However in most cases Cornerstone provides a complete general contracting service. This includes sourcing all the trades required to build the home and then managing the entire project from start to finish.
